Thank you Dawn and H3 for your time. Coco, this is an excellent educational interview for us all, thank you for giving your time to talk about the challenges for Deaf-Blind. I do work with Deaf-Blind through my job, but even I learned a few new things from this interview. Keep up your advocacy and quest for educating others and sharing about the “Deaf-Blind-can-do!” attitude. You are an inspiration to us all! ILY And, INDEED, I certainly hope there will be 100% access to the workshops and events at the Istanbul WFD 4 years from now! WFD Congress planning committee for Istanbul – please pay attention to what she has to say…Access for all Deaf-Blind in WFD Congress 2015 and beyond!

I’ve had the greatest pleasure of knowing Coco when she was a student at Gallaudet University. Not only is she a very inspiring and talented person, she’s a truly beautiful person. If you ever get the chance to meet her, succumb to her charms because she is worth getting to know!

To H3 and Dawn: great interview piece! I certainly hope that the next WFD conference in Istanbul, Turkey will take advantage of this video to their benefit and make their events truly accessible, not just for the deaf-blind, but to all walks of life!

This deafblind Anindia Bapin is mentioned in the interview. He is indeed a wizard in using technology to aid a deafblind person. My wife was driving in New York City with Bapin as a passenger. She was unfamiliar of the streets there. Bapin offered her to guide through the city and called GPS on his device and read the instructions in Braille off the portable computer. A blind person was indeed guiding a sighted person!

It’s nice to get information and community more.
Oh yes I think same – it is a good idea about we Deaf people can help Deafblind people. We can communicate each other same sign language – no problem.

I went to 13th European rehabilitation and cultural week in deafblind in Finland. It was a great experience to meet others from different countries. I like meeting them!

Best Regards from Anja Jane Denmark ♥ ♥ ♥
