The Venezuelan Federation of the Deaf, FEVENSOR, a national organization affiliated with the World Federation
Deaf (WFD), in coordination with the Regional Secretariat South America and all state and municipal organizations, plan
and call for the deaf community, academic researchers and people interested in the various fields related to
comprehensive care for the Deaf, the 1st Latin American Seminar Leader Deaf to be held on 09 and 10
August 2012 in Caracas, to meet and share the progress of comprehensive care, social and both
values ​​of the linguistic diversity of the Deaf community of Latin American continent.
GOAL: To promote the full inclusion and integration of the Deaf community on the continent
Latin America.
Specific Objectives of the Event
A. - Identify barriers to development and integration of the Deaf Community in the Community
South America
2. - To discuss and approve plans and projects to strengthen the organization of deaf people in South America
3. - To establish a platform for communication and information efficiently in the South American continent.
4. - To present and approve the proposal, Venezuela Sin Barreras, Comprehensive Plan and inclusion of deaf people in South America.
