The 2013 World Deaf Ice Hockey Championship has been awarded to Finland.
Finnish Athletic Association of the Deaf (Suomen Kuurojen Urheiluliitto ry) has been confirmed as the host of the 2013 World Deaf Ice Hockey Championship. Mark your calendar for 30 March to 06 April 2013. The ice hockey competition venue will take place at Tikkurila Valtti Areena in Vantaa, Finland.
Finnish Athletic Association of the Deaf (FAAD) is responsible for arranging the tournament. Five countries have made the final entry: Finland, Sweden, Russia, Canada and USA.
Four years ago, in World Championships 2009, Finland won gold.
Will they do that again? We will see this spring.
